Ozcoast is not a TGA-licensed pharmaceutical wholesaler, and we don't offer GDP-validated cold chain for scheduled medicines. That's a specific, regulated category of freight requiring its own licensing and validated temperature-controlled infrastructure, and it sits outside general freight entirely, regardless of which provider is arranging it.

What we do arrange, as general commercial freight, is medical consumables, equipment, PPE and non-scheduled health products. If what you're moving falls into scheduled pharmaceutical distribution, you'll need a TGA-licensed wholesaler, not a general freight provider, and it's worth knowing that distinction before you start requesting quotes.

If this is what you need moved, a licensed pharmaceutical wholesaler is the right provider, not a general freight broker, no matter how the freight itself is described.

Why the Distinction Matters

This isn't a technicality. Scheduled medicine distribution is regulated the way it is because patient safety depends on validated handling at every step, temperature integrity, chain of custody, licensed storage. A general freight provider claiming to handle this without the actual licensing and validated infrastructure isn't offering a service, it's creating a risk. Being clear about where that line sits protects everyone, including the business trying to book the freight.
